Darwin Law chooses Tiger Eye to move them into the iManage Cloud – it was a natural selection

Darwin Law, a boutique firm specialising in Commercial and Property Litigation, Insolvency, and Commercial Property, opened in September 2014 and is growing quickly. Andrew Darwin, the firm’s principal, recognised that the firm was going to struggle to manage its growing caseload without a good document and email management system.

“With a rapidly-expanding client base and more and more matter files, emails and documents to be kept in order, I knew iManage Work was what we really needed, but thought the outlay on hardware and licensing would put it out of reach. I was delighted to discover the iManage Cloud subscription options, making it an affordable option for us.”

Tiger Eye were recommended to Darwin, and MD Dave Wilson spent some time with Andrew Darwin and Rachel Ashby taking them through the process and the stages of implementation. Go-live in the first quarter of 2017 has enabled the firm to start the year on a stronger footing. “We can just get on with our client work now”, says Andrew Darwin. “Paying our Cloud subscription on a monthly basis just makes it part of our ongoing business expenses, rather than a major annual outlay, which for a small business is infinitely preferable.”

The iManage Cloud changes everything for small firms. With no requirement for on-site servers, a monthly per-user subscription fee to the Cloud includes iManage Share and iManage Mobility, as well as maintenance and licensing. Moving to the Cloud also provides for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity, as an exact replica copy of data is kept in a secondary centre.

Data centres meet ISO27001 information security standards, as customer data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and new modules like Threat Manager use advanced analytics and machine learning to protect against modern security threats like phishing attacks.
