Tiger Eye announces Charity of the Year for 2020

We’re delighted to announce that our team have voted the Boudicca Appeal as our Charity of the Year for 2020.

The Boudicca Appeal, one of many programmes under the Norfolk and Norwich Hospitals Charity umbrella, aims to raise funds for a new dedicated breast cancer unit at the NNUH. Over the past five years, the current breast cancer unit has seen an 80% increase in patient numbers, meaning that as it stands, the current unit is unable to provide same-day diagnosis to all visitors.

In building a new unit, the specialist breast cancer team will be able to provide even better, quicker and more dignified treatment to a predicted 7,000 local women each year (as well as providing services for men).

Following a vote from all our team, the Boudicca Appeal was chosen for it’s vital work in our local community – and for being a cause close to all of our hearts.

Here at Tiger Eye, we will make the Boudicca Appeal the focus of our fundraising efforts for 2020, with a number of events and fundraising projects planned during the year, to generate vital funds for the appeal.

We hope to support our new Charity of the Year with the same passion demonstrated in previous fundraising projects, including those hosted in aid of The Benjamin Foundation in 2019, including Tiger Trek.

We look forward to working closely with Norfolk and Norwich Hospitals Charity.
