I have worked in IT for over 15 years in various roles. After university, I worked for a large bank supporting financial and support applications written in varying languages. Later I worked for a Haulage IT Firm supporting the client base at 2nd and 3rd level, finding out client problems, proposing solutions and actively developing, testing, and releasing the patches.
Experience and values:
My focus has always been the user and ensuring the process of support or new delivery is smooth, jargon-free and meets expectations. I prioritise the user experience above all else and have a keen desire to ensure applications aren’t written to be “clever” but are useful and free from complexity. I love problem solving, testing and have a desire to know how everything works!
