UK-based law firms Shakespeare Martineau and Mayo Wynne Baxter (both part of the Ampa group) have chosen Tiger Eye as the group’s iManage Cloud Partner. Tiger Eye will migrate both firms’ documents, emails and knowledge to the iManage Cloud later this year, and deliver platform management once in the cloud. The iManage Cloud will give both organisations access to the latest innovations in the AI-powered iManage platform as soon as they are available, helping teams to collaborate securely, work smarter and enhance efficiency.
Shakespeare Martineau began working with Full-Service iManage Partner Tiger Eye in 2024, opting for Tiger Eye’s iManage Support service after a competitive review of providers. In 2024, Shakespeare Martineau also adopted Tiger Eye’s iManage and Peppermint integration to ensure data flows effectively throughout the systems in the firm’s technology stack.
Tiger Eye will manage Shakespeare Martineau’s cloud transition over a 9-month project, migrating over 42 million documents and 24TB of data from the firm’s on-premises iManage system to the iManage Cloud. To consolidate technology stacks across the Ampa group, Mayo Wynne Baxter will move directly from SharePoint to the iManage Cloud as part of the programme of projects, with the transition managed by Tiger Eye’s iManage Professional Services team.
Ampa group is the UK’s leading legal and professional services group with over 1400 employees, including 860 fee earners, and is one of the largest professional services B-Corporations in the world. Shakespeare Martineau, part of the group, is a full service national law firm offering a range of services from corporate and commercial, to property and private client. Mayo Wynne Baxter, also part of Ampa group, is an award-winning law firm based in the southeast of England, providing specialist advice and legal services to businesses and individuals across a range of practice areas. Both firms have strong reputations for excellence in the UK, with scores of 4.8 and above on external review sites including Feefo and Trustpilot.
Andrew Foreman, Chief Information Officer at Shakespeare Martineau commented: “Moving to the cloud is a significant project for any business of our scale, but Tiger Eye have given us the confidence we needed to make the transition. Their support has been vital as we have considered the options available to us, and we have been impressed by their expertise throughout. The iManage Cloud’s secure, reliable, Microsoft Azure native cloud will ensure we continue to be protected by best-of-breed security as we grow and scale. However, we were also drawn to the range of benefits available exclusively in the cloud via the tight integration between iManage and Microsoft, including enhanced collaboration via native co-authoring.”
Dave Wilson, Chief Innovation Officer at Tiger Eye, added: “For growing firms like Shakespeare Martineau and Mayo Wynne Baxter, the iManage Cloud is an essential platform for secure collaboration and efficient working. With updates automatically delivered to users, the iManage Cloud will ensure all staff have access to the latest features and innovations, without manual efforts from IT. Our team have enjoyed collaborating with Shakespeare Martineau and we look forward to continuing our close-knit partnership with the Ampa group.”
