Tiger Eye, the legal technology specialists dedicated to Harnessing Knowledge and Unleashing Potential have today (18th June) announced the launch of Tiger Eye Administrate: a powerful, cloud-compatible data management solution for iManage users, acting as a ‘one stop shop’ for managing the document management system (DMS) according to compliance requirements and best practices.
Administrate has four distinct modules: Sync, Move, Secure and Delete. Combining multiple essential iManage add-ons into one accessible offering, Administrate ensures IT teams can manage key data management tasks via one trusted solution (rather than numerous tools, via multiple providers). Administrate is designed to make critical data management processes faster, automated and hassle-free, enabling IT teams to integrate systems, manage system security and move, archive and delete data all within one solution (with modules also available to purchase independently).
Administrate: Sync enables firms to integrate iManage with other systems, such as Practice Management Systems. Creating and maintaining connected, governed data flows, the Sync module ensures that updates made to client records in one system are automatically mirrored in integrated solutions, including iManage. In doing so, users can be confident that the DMS can be trusted as a source of truth, reflecting up-to-date information from across the firm’s technology stack.
Administrate: Move enables system administrators to move content across libraries in iManage with ease – a process which is otherwise manual, time-consuming and at risk of human error. The Move module is key for compliance processes such as data archiving, moving data out of ‘live’ databases to secure archiving libraries. In using Move for archiving, firms can minimise live databases for end-users, reducing the volume of content that users must search through to find documents and emails needed for their knowledge work, therefore improving search capabilities.
Administrate: Secure makes it easier for system administrators to set, process and manage default security settings across the DMS, such as for new starters. After templated access rights and security measures are set, these are then automatically rolled out system wide, without manual input required. The Secure module also ensures that document access is controlled and consistent across the firm, with users only able to access the content needed for their knowledge work.
Administrate: Delete is a robust data deletion solution, empowering Administrate users to perform deletion tasks at scale with accuracy, reducing the manual efforts needed to ensure the DMS remains compliant and secure. Automating otherwise manual processes, the Delete module enables users to create scheduled deletion workflows in line with company policies e.g., retention and destruction policies. With deletion tasks automated across the DMS, the Delete module makes it easier than ever before for firms to maintain compliance. Using the Delete module, users can also perform both small-scale and bulk deletions on an ad hoc basis, with the ability to target everything from entire workspaces to individual documents.
On the launch of the new system, Dave Wilson, Chief Innovation Officer at Tiger Eye, added:
“For many years, firms have had to rely on multiple, disjointed tools to manage their DMS and ‘connect the dots’. Most firms we work with have at least a handful of add-ons to ‘keep their house in order’ – including integrations, workflow tools, deletion solutions, and more. This process involves working with multiple vendors, managing with each of these the business relationship, contracts, terms, etc, and what’s more, many of these smaller offerings haven’t been optimised for the cloud or the future of iManage’s Azure-based offering. We saw the need to change that – delivering a ‘one stop shop’ for these needs on a flexible basis, with firms able to buy only what they need and add more on a later basis. We have already had a fantastic response to Administrate’s launch and through our accessible, scalable solution, I hope we can help a wide range of firms to work smarter with iManage.”
